4D Gets a Powerful Tool to Measure its Performance
That's why we created a scientific platform on which we can run batteries of exhaustive, identical tests – eliminating results that deviate to the extremes, and to keeping the most valid, averaged results. We hereby present to you the most interesting results, not only in terms of performance, but also to help make migration and code review decisions. You can effectively determine whether certain improvements occur without any change of code, or if they would require updates, major or minor. In some cases, you may find that workarounds (or “wrapping,” if you are so inclined) that you’ve used for years may now be replaced by a native command worth implementing.
